VESALIUS introduces Esoteric Dashboard

Oct 09 - novaHEALTH announces the addition of a new module called ESOTERIC DASHBOARD to VESALIUS Hospital Information System (HIS). Esoteric knowledge refers to facts that are available only to a narrow circle of "enlightened". In VESALIUS, this circle refers to management users, and it is to this specific group the dashboard will provide critical information to aid decision-making.

As opposed to reports which give retrospective view of hospital data, the dashboard is intended to tap into the VESALIUS database and provide the hospital management with realtime statistics for them to pre-empt potential problems and make informed decisions without delay.

In summary, ESOTERIC DASHBOARD contains:

• Key information in easy-to-understand tables & graphs
• Organized according to hospital function
• Drill-down features, navigating to containing more information.

The first version ESOTERIC DASHBOARD will be delivered to new and existing customers of VESALIUS.geo with valid maintenance by end of Oct 2009. This version will contain dashboards for two areas - Operation and Finance.

Subsequent updates will cover areas like Clinical, Pharmacy, Outpatient Clinic Manager and Ward Manager. Again, these gradual enhancements come without any charges.
