4 Nov 2010 - Nova was awarded a contract by University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC),
Kuala Lumpur for the implementation of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system together with related hardware and software.
University Malaya Medical Centre is one of the eminent organizations in the Ministry of Higher Education with its main objectives
in provision of healthcare services, training of medical staff and clinical research.
Mr. Steven Chan, Group CEO of Nova said, "The win underlines the recognition of VESALIUS as a maturing EMR product as the project
attracted the interest and bids from a host of international vendors. We are proud to be selected by a prestigious organization that
is steeped in the Malaysian history of medical learning as the partner to roll-out a system that is critical to their clinical care."
The project is expected to contribute positively to the result of the Group over the contractual implementation period of 2 years.
